History & Location

National Model Higher Secondary Boys School is located in the historical and culturally active city of Sheikhupura. It is situated at Hiran Minar Road, spreading over an area of more than 62 kanals in a calm and quiet atmosphere. The school provides a healthy environment to acquire knowledge and education under disciplined guidance. It caters to boys of secondary classes, started functioning in September 2001, and has played a leading role in the district ever since.

National Model Higher Secondary Girls School is located on Sargodha Road, Sheikhupura. Starting in April 1989 with 250 students, it now serves more than a thousand students with two main double storey blocks, a library, equipped laboratories, and vast play fields.

Junior Section

Levels & Ages:

  • Nursery — 3 to 4 years
  • Prep — 4 to 5 years
  • Class I — 5 to 6 years
  • Class II — 6 to 7 years
  • Class III — 7 to 8 years
  • Class IV — 8 to 9 years
  • Class V — 9 to 10 years

Senior Section

For boys promoted from the junior section; qualified and experienced teachers prepare students for SSC in Science and Computer Science.

  • Class VI — 11 to 12 years
  • Class VII — 12 to 13 years
  • Class VIII — 13 to 14 years
  • Class IX — 14 to 15 years
  • Class X — 15 to 16 years

Higher Secondary

Combinations offered:

  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (Pre‑Engineering)
  • Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics (ICS)
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Pre‑Medical)

To maintain close contact between teachers and pupils, class strength is restricted for focused attention.

Rules & Regulations

General Discipline

NMS maintains a high standard of discipline among students and staff. Strict adherence to rules and cooperation from parents are essential.

Academic Session

The academic year runs from April to March, divided into two terms with term examinations, weekly and monthly tests, and reports for parents.

Admission Policy

Admissions for Class XI are held after Matric results; other classes are subject to seat availability and entry tests in core subjects, with merit‑based selection.

Attendance & Leave

Regular attendance and punctuality are expected. Prolonged absences require a medical certificate; chronic absence may result in removal from rolls.
